Handheld or omni-directional
A handheld scanner for a lower-volume counter, or an omni-directional scanner for a busier one.
Add a barcode scanner to any terminal. A handheld scanner suits a counter that is not scanning constantly; an omni-directional scanner reads from any angle without lining the item up, which is worth it once the queue gets long.
